The Espressonist sits right on the Docklands marina, every seat with a water view. For a leadership offsite, a client thank-you, a product launch or the end-of-year, it’s the rare corporate venue that stops feeling like work. We host 30–60 seated, or up to 120 standing for a canapé reception — tailored to your group and format.

The Space

Seven sections, one view. Inside: a dining room, four booths for breakout groups, a lounge area, and bar seating. Outside: a courtyard of tables and chairs, and the promenade’s picnic benches when you want something more relaxed. Every one of them looks out over the marina. Configure it standing, seated, or a mix — the venue flexes from an intimate 30 to a 120-strong reception.

The Menu

Our kitchen builds event menus around how people actually behave — grazing, sharing, lingering. Every menu is designed to order; a taste of the range:

Canapés — Kingfish ceviche, chargrilled prawn skewers, chorizo & calamari skewers, scallops with XO, wagyu sliders, oysters Kilpatrick, truffled fromager d’affinois.

Something more substantial — mini fish & chips, slow-cooked lamb shoulder, tandoori cauliflower & dahl (V/GF).

Seated dinners — a tailored entrée–main–dessert with wine pairings.

To finish — petit fours: lemon meringue tarts, chocolate hazelnut tarts, French macarons.

Drinks — cocktails, a curated wine list, and proper non-alcoholic options.
